Last week, the boys of Metivta brought that spirit to life during a visit to an elderly assisted living facility in Migdal HaEmek – a visit filled with warmth, joy, and genuine human connection.

This week, the boys of Zoharim took part in the village’s annual run in memory of fallen soldiers.

At Zoharim Youth Village, students and staff gathered for a deeply meaningful ceremony to mark Yom HaShoah – a moment of reflection, remembrance, and connection to the history and legacy of the Holocaust.

Today, on Yom HaShoah, we remember. We remember the six million Jewish lives lost. We remember the stories, the families, the futures taken too soon. And we remember our responsibility.

As Pesach approaches, the students of the Mishpachtonim (Foster Care programme) came together with incredible energy and heart to support families in need.

Many of the children in our Mishpachtonim foster care families are not sleeping in their beds. Instead, they are gathered in the shelters beneath their homes.

Since the outbreak of the war, staff across Migdal Ohr’s branches have gone above and beyond to ensure that children with special needs continue to receive the care, stability, and support they depend on.

During a brief pause between the sirens, the girls at the Afikei Ohr Youth Village took part in a special painting and art programme, creating a moment of creativity, calm, and encouragement in an otherwise tense period.

A group of young women from Ohr Yisraeli Tirat Carmel recently dedicated their time to bringing comfort and happiness to children whose families have been evacuated from Israel’s northern communities.

This week, students took time to send heartfelt brachot and messages of appreciation to the brave soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces.
