Excitement is building at Machshava School as Purim approaches and the children eagerly prepare to celebrate.
Classrooms are buzzing with creativity. Students are planning their costumes, swapping ideas with friends, and bringing their imaginations to life. From superheroes to queens, from brave characters in the Purim story to colourful creations of their own design, each child is finding a way to express themselves through dress-up and play.
Our teachers are educating our students through the story of Esther and Mordechai, helping them understand the deeper message of the festival – courage in the face of fear, unity in challenging times, and the power of hidden strength. For many of our children, these themes resonate deeply. Purim reminds them that even when life feels uncertain, light can emerge from darkness.
