As part of the agricultural programme at Metiva School, our students recently went on and educational journey along the Dairy Cow Trail in Beit Lehem HaGlilit.
This immersive experience gave students a behind-the-scenes look at the life cycle of dairy – from farm to fridge. They fed calves, milked cows, and visited a cutting-edge robotic dairy farm, gaining a deep appreciation for the hard work and innovation behind every glass of milk.
Our students also rolled up their sleeves to make butter, chocolate milk, and fresh pitas in a traditional taboon oven. The day was filled with hands-on learning, laughter, and the delicious taste of their own creations.
Beyond the fun, this trip reinforced key lessons about sustainability, responsibility, and the beauty of seeing a process through from start to finish.
A big thank you to our students, dedicated teaching staff, and everyone who helped bring this unforgettable experience to life.
