Lighting the Way – A New School Year at the Meirim Elementary Torah School
With joy and excitement, the Meirim Elementary Torah School, located on the Machshava campus in Migdal HaEmek, has opened its fifth academic year. The school continues to flourish, guided by its mission to combine academic excellence with a deep connection to Jewish heritage and values.
The vision of Meirim is clear – to raise a generation that draws strength from Jewish history and tradition while gaining the skills and tools to become committed, contributing citizens of the State of Israel.
The opening day was filled with moving moments. In a beautiful tradition of brotherhood and care, the 5th-grade students warmly accompanied the new 1st-graders to their classrooms. With smiles and encouragement, they pledged to be a source of support throughout the year – especially during those first emotional and sometimes overwhelming days of school.
This touching scene reflected the very essence of Meirim’s educational approach: mutual responsibility, kindness, and true community spirit.
