Celebrating Culinary Success: Migdal Ohr’s Cooking Up a Future Programme

What a flavourful afternoon! Our Cooking Up a Future students and chefs at Migdal ha’Emek celebrated an incredible year in their programme with a delectable end-of-year event, showcasing their culinary journeys.
Our newly graduated chefs demonstrated their skills to family and friends, highlighting their culinary creativity on the plate. From learning about diverse ingredients and complementary flavours to mastering technical and presentation skills, they prepared numerous delicious, mouthwatering dishes, creating exquisite memories.
The room was filled with our programme educators, thrilled to see the gourmet food produced. The menu featured a variety of dishes, from burgers and homemade dips to freshly made pitas and beautiful cakes.
The Head of the Cooking Up a Future program commented, “The cooking from our students was infused with dedication and passion. You could see the food was sprinkled with love and hope as our students embark on their culinary journeys. Each dish tells a unique story from our children who have come together to create such a beautiful community. We are so proud of what our students have achieved together.”
We wish our students the best of luck in their future endeavours, whether they’re enlisting in the IDF, continuing their culinary training, or starting careers in hospitality. It’s been incredible to see these students, from diverse backgrounds, come together to create something so hearty and full of gourmet experiences that will last a lifetime.
