Building a Brighter Future: New Construction on Campus Despite the War

At Migdal Ohr, construction is forging ahead! Two new dormitories are currently being built on our Zoharim Youth Village campus, and in just a few months, they will become home to 60 at-risk boys seeking a new beginning.

Each apartment will house 3-4 roommates, with shared living spaces designed for both comfort and growth, including a common area, bathroom, kitchen, computer workspace, and even a balcony where these young men can catch their breath and dream of their future.

We’re also expanding educational opportunities by constructing a brand-new school, featuring 12 classrooms and 11 multipurpose spaces. From a library to a computer lab, these spaces will become places where learning and self-discovery take root – where boys who once felt lost can find their purpose and start building their futures.

This construction is more than just bricks and mortar. For the boys who come to Migdal Ohr, it’s a fresh start, a chance to find a family, and a place where they can begin rebuilding their lives. It’s about laying a foundation for success, not just for today, but for the many years to come.

We’re also expanding and improving the Migdal Ha’Emek campus so that it can continue to be a safe and nurturing home for thousands of children who need it most. Despite the war, our mission presses forward, and it is awe-inspiring to witness the global support that makes this possible.

Together, we are building a brighter future for Israel’s children – one dorm, one classroom, one heart at a time. May we continue to grow stronger and build together, even in the most challenging of times.
