Without the means to afford essentials like housing, food, and wedding attire, the joy of getting married can quickly turn into a source of immense stress. Additionally, those who have grown up without family support, or who have been orphaned, face the emotional strain of planning such a significant event alone, without the guidance and encouragement that most people take for granted.
