Passover Appeal
As Passover approaches and in light of the COVID-19 crisis, it is crucial that we continue to run our Chag Saveah for Children food distribution campaign and help over 25,000 disadvantaged families to celebrate Passover in joy and dignity. There are thousands of families in Israel who will not be able to eat this holiday. We are running an urgent appeal for YOUR help. Open your heart and help us make sure 1000’s families will have food on their table this Passover.
Migdal Ohr’s Chag Saveah for children campaign started as a local initiative of students from their school in Migdal Ha’Emek who wanted to give something back to society by providing food parcels to children, similar to them, but who were in financial need.
The Migdal Ohr students learned that when you receive something, you have to be able to give something back to society. This local initiative grew over the years into an essential and national campaign.
We appeal to you to help us reach more needy families this Passover to ensure that they are not going hungry.
