United Against Antizionism and Antisemitism: A Historic Gathering at the House of Lords

On 12th March 2025, We Believe in Israel (WBII) and Migdal Ohr UK joined forces for a landmark event at the House of Lords, standing united against the rising tides of antizionism and antisemitism. Under the wise chairmanship of Lord Stuart Polak CBE, this powerful gathering brought together leading voices to address the urgent threats facing Jewish communities today.
The evening featured a thought-provoking conversation between Lord Polak CBE and Julia Haart, followed by a panel discussion exploring key challenges and solutions in the fight against antisemitism. The event focused on how individuals and organisations can actively challenge biases against Israeli and Jewish victims, combat antisemitism online and on university campuses, and advocate for a more just and inclusive feminist movement.
Key Highlights from the Event:
- Julia Haart introduced “Ahm Nation,” a new online advocacy community platform designed to mobilise people in the fight against antisemitism and support for Israel in seconds. Operating under the mantra “Follow to Lead,” the platform empowers individuals to reshape the narrative by following and amplifying influencers who advocate for Jewish identity and Israel. One follows at a time, and the movement grows.
- Expert Panel Discussion: The conversation was enriched by the insights of distinguished panellists, each bringing a unique perspective on combatting antisemitism and supporting Israel:
Keith Fraser – Chairman of the Israel Solidarity Movement, award-winning podcaster, media commentator, and author of Cojones – Grow a Pair for Success. Keith is a passionate advocate for Israel and frequently speaks on antisemitism across major media platforms.
Lily Moo – Iranian-born feminist and human rights activist at the forefront of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. Lily is a prominent voice against antisemitism and a vocal supporter of Israel despite facing significant threats for her advocacy.
Catherine Perez-Shakdam – Renowned political analyst and writer specialising in Middle Eastern affairs, antisemitism, and radicalisation. Catherine’s work provides critical insights into the geopolitical challenges facing Israel and Jewish communities globally.
Amit Fraser, CEO of Migdal Ohr Europe, hosted the event and shared the vital work the welfare charity does in Israel, supporting vulnerable children and strengthening Jewish communities.
