Machshava Elementary School Celebrates Kallot Bat Mitzvah with a Memorable Trip. This week, the students of Machshava Elementary School embarked on a unique journey to celebrate their Kallot Bat Mitzvah, marking a significant milestone in their lives with a series of spiritually enriching and fun activities.

The trip kicked off with an inspiring Hafrashat Challah workshop, where the girls learned the ancient art of Challah baking – a tradition that symbolises the sanctity of the home and the importance of giving. This hands-on experience provided the students with a deeper connection to their heritage and an appreciation for one of Judaism’s most cherished customs.

The journey continued with visits to some of Israel’s most sacred sites, offering the students an opportunity to explore their faith and history. These visits were accompanied by educational activities designed to enhance their understanding and personal connection to these holy places. A highlight of the trip was the exhilarating boat ride on the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), where the girls enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and a sense of camaraderie.

This memorable experience not only brought joy and laughter but also strengthened the bond between the students as they shared this special moment together. The Kallot Bat Mitzvah trip was a profound experience for the students of Machshava Elementary School, filled with learning, growth, and celebration. It was a beautiful testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing the spiritual and personal development of its students. We extend our warmest congratulations to the students on their Bat Mitzvah and wish them continued success on their journey of learning and discovery. And would like to thank our valued donors who made this possible.
