This past week, Migdal Ohr UK orchestrated a truly unforgettable and inspirational evening—Women’s Hearts United for Israel. Over 120 women, hailing from diverse backgrounds, came together in a powerful display of solidarity, weaving a tapestry of unity and warmth for our beloved Israel.

The evening featured insightful conversations led by Michal Oshman, the esteemed author of ‘What would you do if you weren’t afraid?’. With grace and empathy, Michal engaged our honoured guest, Sigal Cohen—a mother facing the heart-wrenching ordeal of having a loved son held hostage in Gaza. Sigal shared her powerful journey, intertwining moments of pain with rays of hope and unwavering faith in the safe return of the hostages.

Sarit Vogel, a spiritual leader who was gracing us with her presence, led a Challah bake—an empowering and emotional act of solidarity for Israel. The room buzzed with shared purpose as women connected through the intimate process of baking Challah, their collective efforts a symbol of prayer for the safety and redemption of our cherished nation, Israel.

Shimi Goodman, a Tenor from the West End, took the stage, delivering enchanting melodies that resonated through the venue. His moving renditions of songs like Shema Israel, Adon Olam, and Bring Him Home added a poignant layer to the evening, touching the hearts of every attendee.

A big shout out to Geoffrey Alan Photography for capturing the spirit of this evening and for the brilliant photos, which will create memories for a lifetime.

As the night unfolded, it not only raised much-needed funds for those in desperate need in Israel but also became a beacon of light piercing through the darkness our nation has endured.

With some hope rekindled and hearts united, the Women’s Hearts United for Israel event stands as a testament to the power of solidarity, compassion, and the unwavering spirit of those dedicated to making a difference.
