Robyn’s Facebook Fundraiser for Our Less Fortunate Children

Helping Migdal Ohr via my fundraiser has been the best experience. When I initially researched Migdal Ohr, I knew I wanted to help them on their mission any way I could. Just scrolling through the website and seeing all the amazing work they do from the Youth Village to the educational system, they are making a difference in so many children’s lives and I wanted to be a part of that. Furthermore, being able to share this experience with family and friends by introducing them to Migdal Ohr’s mission and getting them involved.

I was introduced to the charity at my synagogue when one of my parent’s friends was talking about how they had just started getting involved and working with the charity. So, after my school break, I contacted Amit to understand what Migdal Ohr is all about and the goals they have for the future.

Then I made my Facebook account and started a fundraiser for Migdal Ohr, sending a message to all my family and friends explaining to them what the charity was, what they do, what they plan to do and why I think they should donate. Fortunately, Migdal Ohr is such a great cause, which made it very easy for people to want to donate and be part of the mission.
