For many families, Passover is a source of stress and anxiety, as they struggle to make ends meet and purchase the necessary food and supplies for Seder night.
At Migdal Ohr, we recognized this plight and launched a Chag Saveah for Passover campaign to provide food parcels to those in need.
As a part of the Passover campaign, we held a special Food Packaging Day in Israel where the Olim community joined us to help. The group was organised by our generous donor Katya Gaidamak. Thanks to her brilliant work, kids, parents and elderly people made a joint effort to help us pack food parcels for families in need.
The group was led by our executive director Amit Fraser who confirmed that they managed to pack 200 packages that day. Rabbi Grossman in his speech addressed that “Many Israeli children in Israel will have food on the table because of your incredible support, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming here and helping us to make a difference to so many families this Passover.“
During the entire Chag Saveah campaign, Migdal Ohr successfully distributed 40,000 food parcels to families in Israel.
Thank you for your ongoing support! All these wouldn’t be possible without your dedication.
