As Migdal Ohr prepares for Chag Saveach, the students of Ohr Yisraeli Beer Sheva are once again demonstrating what it means to care for their community.
With compassion and dedication, the students packed care packages filled with essential baby supplies, including nappies, baby wipes, formula and other everyday necessities for local families who are struggling.
Their kindness doesn’t stop there. Throughout the year, the students also run a Gemach for baby equipment and supplies, ensuring that families can access essential items whenever they are needed. It is a beautiful example of young people taking responsibility for those around them and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
At Migdal Ohr, education extends far beyond the classroom. Alongside academic achievement, we strive to nurture empathy, responsibility and a lifelong commitment to helping others. Through initiatives like this, our students learn that even the simplest act of kindness can offer comfort, restore dignity and bring hope to families facing difficult times.
As Chag Saveach approaches, these care packages are a reminder of the power of community and compassion. Together, we can help ensure that no family feels forgotten and that every child is surrounded by the care, generosity and hope they deserve.
