Journey of Giving: Zoharim 12th Graders’ National Volunteer Tour

As they journeyed across our beautiful country, the spirited 12th graders from Zoharim Youth Village turned their trip into a mission of compassion and service. Their adventure was more than just exploring; it was about touching lives and making a tangible difference in the communities they visited.
Feeding the Hungry at Meir Panim: Their first stop was at Meir Panim, where they donned aprons and set to work preparing nourishing meals for those in need. Their efforts also extended to providing food for our dedicated soldiers, ensuring those who protect us are well-fed and appreciated.
Supporting Special Needs at Ohr Akiva: The journey continued to Ohr Akiva, where our students dedicated their time and hearts to assisting individuals with special needs. Through their acts of kindness, they not only offered support but also shared moments of joy and connection.
Volunteering at Yad Sarah, Raanana: In Raanana, they partnered with Yad Sarah, contributing their energy to assist in the organization’s mission of lending medical and rehabilitative equipment. Their involvement helped ensure that those in need received the necessary support to improve their quality of life.
At Migdal Ohr, we are beyond proud of their commitment to service and the positive energy they bring to every task.
A heartfelt thank you to Meir Panim, the local institution in Ohr Akiva, and Yad Sarah in Raanana for allowing us to contribute to your incredible work. Together, we’re not just changing lives; we’re shaping a future of empathy, responsibility, and community.
Our students spent time listening to stories, offering comfort, and showing that no family stands alone in their wait. These moments of connection remind us all of the enduring strength found in compassion and collective support.
See the moments of togetherness, heartfelt support, and the unwavering spirit of hope that our students shared with the families at the Hostage Tent. The resolve and resilience witnessed here inspire us all to stand in solidarity with those who await reunions with open hearts.
We stand with the families, sharing their hope and continuing our prayers for the safe return of their loved ones. Together, we can be a source of strength and encouragement in the face of uncertainty.
