A Shofar Workshop to Welcome the New Year
In the lead-up to Rosh Hashanah, the children of Machshava Elementary School had a special opportunity to take part in a hands-on Shofar workshop.
They discovered the Shofar’s deep meaning, learned how it is made, and even tried blowing it themselves! The excitement on their faces reflected both joy and pride in engaging with such a powerful symbol of our heritage.
Moments like these connect our students to the beauty of Jewish tradition and prepare their hearts for the year ahead. By experiencing the Shofar in such a meaningful way, they step into the New Year with spirit, understanding, and inspiration.
