Currently, over 100 students attend Afikei Ohr Youth Village

In the heart of Migdal HaEmek, Afikei Ohr youth village is a safe haven for 100 teenage girls at risk, many of whom have faced life on the streets and dropped out of school. 

Here, they find more than shelter. They find unconditional acceptance, a family that welcomes them with open arms, and the tools to rebuild their future.

Our dedicated therapists and staff meet each girl’s emotional, social, and academic needs while opening doors to creativity, entrepreneurship, and education. Through hands-on learning in our greenhouses, fish hatchery, art studio, woodshop, candle and soap-making, and cooking school, the girls discover their passions, gain practical skills, and learn that they are capable of achieving more than they ever imagined.

Day Care and Kindergarten Centres

Migdal Ohr’s eight daycare centres provide a safe, loving environment for hundreds of orphaned and neglected children. Through expert care and early education, we provide the essential life skills and values needed for the best possible start in life.

Elementary Schools

Migdal Ohr’s elementary schools combine academics with vocational training in a supportive day and boarding environment. By integrating core values with practical skills, we provide a holistic education that empowers students to become confident and capable adults.

Metivta provides an excellent education and mentorship for boys from underprivileged homes. Staff act as parental figures, helping students build confidence and life skills. This supportive environment ensures every student gains the tools needed to become a successful adult.

Machshavah School helps immigrant children from the former Soviet Union integrate through first-class education. The curriculum focuses on advanced STEM subjects alongside vibrant arts, including choir, dance, and drama, allowing students to express their creativity while building a future.
