The young chefs taking part in Migdal Ohr’s Cooking Up the Future culinary programme reached an important milestone as they completed their final matriculation examinations.
The students undertook both practical and oral exams, demonstrating the skills, knowledge and confidence they had developed throughout the year. In preparation, they spent two intensive days planning, cutting, cooking and perfecting their dishes under the guidance of their instructors and examiners from the Ministry of Education.
The practical examination gave each student the opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical ability and attention to detail. By the end, they had produced an impressive variety of beautifully prepared dishes, reflecting their hard work and commitment to the programme.
After successfully completing their oral examinations, the students gathered with the school staff, their instructors and classmates to celebrate their achievements with a wonderful feast.
The occasion marked far more than the end of an academic year. It celebrated the students’ perseverance, growing independence and the practical skills that will help them build promising futures.
We are incredibly proud of every student and look forward to seeing where their talent and determination will take them next.
