Never Forget: Zoharim Youth Village Marks Yom HaShoah with a Moving Ceremony

At Zoharim Youth Village, remembrance took centre stage as students gathered to honour the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. The Yom HaShoah ceremony was a deeply emotional and meaningful experience, rooted in memory, reflection, and hope.

The programme featured heartfelt readings, personal reflections, candle lighting, and poignant songs of remembrance. What made the ceremony especially powerful was the active participation of the students themselves – many of whom shared stories passed down through their families. In doing so, they wove their own personal journeys into the broader tapestry of Jewish history, resilience, and identity.

At Zoharim, where education is infused with purpose and healing, Yom HaShoah is more than a commemorative day. It is a living lesson – a call to carry forward the values of humanity, dignity, and unity. In remembering the past, our students are shaping a more compassionate future.

May their voices continue to echo the truth: we remember, and we will never forget.
