The boys of Zoharim Youth Village set out on a journey to Poland — a profound experience designed to connect them not only to the painful history of the Jewish people, but also to the inner strength that has allowed our nation to grow, rebuild, and thrive despite everything we’ve endured.
This year, the journey holds even deeper meaning. It is impossible to separate it from the memory of the tragedy of 7th of October, when our enemies once again tried to destroy us – as they have done throughout the generations. Amid the sorrow and pain, this journey becomes a time tunnel into the past – to the people and places that, even in the darkest moments, kept the Jewish spirit and memory alive.
At Zoharim, the boys don’t simply learn about the Holocaust. They encounter the power of resilience. They tap into the uniquely Jewish strength to renew, to revive, and to rebuild. They embark on this journey not merely as observers, but as members of a generation determined to shape the future of our people with courage, pride, and purpose.
We are deeply grateful to our generous donors who have enabled us to educate and empower the future generations of Israel for over 50 years. Your support makes journeys like this possible – ones that change lives, shape identity, and honour the past while building a brighter future.
