In an inspiring display of unity, resilience, and love for Israel, the students of Mesivta Migdal Ohr recently participated in a unique woodworking workshop.

This meaningful initiative was dedicated to prayers for the success of the people of Israel and, most importantly, for the safe and immediate return of all hostages. The atmosphere was filled with deep emotion as the students collectively sang “Lu Yehi,” a song that echoed their heartfelt yearning for redemption and the return of those still missing. The melody carried their prayers, uniting all present in a moment of shared hope and determination.

During the workshop, students worked hand in hand to craft furniture for the institution’s courtyard. They built and painted benches, picnic tables, and swings – each piece carrying a deep significance. The coloUr orange was chosen for the designs in memory of the Bibas family, symboliSing the tragic loss of innocent children, Ariel and Kfir, and the unwavering commitment of Migdal Ohr to protecting and uplifting every child in Israel.

This initiative was more than just a creative workshop; it was a testament to the strength of a united community and the power of transformation. In a place where innocent lives were taken, the students and staff chose to build, create, and give back. Through their work, they sent a clear and resounding message: pain can be turned into purpose, and loss into a force for good.

Migdal Ohr remains steadfast in its mission to sanctify childhood, spread love, and work tirelessly for the welfare of all Israeli children. The woodworking workshop stands as a beacon of hope, proving that even in times of darkness, light can emerge through acts of kindness, unity, and creation.
