Celebrating International women’s day with our French community

To mark International Women’s Day, our women’s committee led by Alexandra Fittoussi and Amanda Ibgui hosted 30 women from Chelsea’s French community to support our charity and enjoy a Margarita party. 

 

During an evening of music and cocktails, our guest speaker Sarit Vogel shared with us The Power of Joy and the secrets of Simcha. 

 

The event was in aid of the Afikei Ohr Girls’ Youth Village, a unique and groundbreaking project in Israel for girls at risk.

 

Amit Fraser the executive director said in her speech address : 

 

“Migdal Ohr has many different projects helping children at risk from all types of backgrounds, ensuring they all have a chance for a brighter future. 

 

As women, we have the power to make a difference by educating our children on the importance of kindness and being charitable. “
